Raymond J. Salvidio, 83, of Worcester passed away January 5, 2017. Raymond is survived by his wife of 62 years, Aphrodite “Diane” (Kyritsis) Salvidio; a sister, Elaine Maynard and her husband Dick of Worcester; a brother-in-law, Michael Kyritsis; two nieces, Krista Marie Maynard and Athina Kyritsis, MD and her husband Petr Pokorny; a nephew, Zannos Grekos, MD; grandnieces, Demitrianna, Valentina and Dionysia Grekos; grandnephews, Zannos Grekos who was especially closest to his Uncle Ray and Andreas Grekos; several cousins and other extended family members. His brother, Donald R. Salvidio pre-deceased him. He was born in Worcester his parents were the late Samuel and Margaret (Lucey) Salvidio. After High School, Raymond Joined the U.S. Air Force serving proudly during the Korean War. In civilian life, Raymond owned and operated his own Car Sales Company, Ray Salvidio Auto Sales. Calling hours, funeral service and burial will be held privately. Ray will be buried at Massachusetts Veteran Cemetery in Winchendon.
