Clarence W. "Wa Wa" Dyer Sr., 80 of Worcester, died Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Good Samaritan, Brockton. Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late, Ralph W. Dyer and Lucy M. (Hazard) Waller. He graduated from Worcester Public Schools, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Returning from active duty Clarence worked as a Police Officer for the Town of Framingham and as a Computer Engineer for Digital Equipment Corp. Clarence is survived by his four children, Vanessa Kaiser of Framingham, Theadora A. Dyer II of Bellingham, Roberta Dyer of Shrewsbury, and Clarence W. Dyer Jr. and his wife Candice of Bridgewater; his grand-children, Stacy, Jamie, Jodi Kaiser, Mason,and Aiden Dyer and his former wife Theadora A. (Assencoa) Dyer and son in law Scott Kaiser; his siblings Ruth Bigelow, Frances Benson, Marlene Lundy. His sister, Lucille Price pre-deceased him. Graveside services with the U.S. Army honors will be held Wednesday, January 4th, at 11:00 am Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster Street, Worcester.
