Grace T. (Caruso) Bisceglia, 92, of Holden, formerly of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016, surrounded by her family at Golden Living Center in Worcester. Her husband of fifty-three years, Sylvester A. Bisceglia, predeceased her in 1996. Grace is survived by her loving daughter Priscilla “Pat” Barbato and her husband Robert of Worcester; twin brother, Matteo Caruso of Garden Ridge, TX, and Frank Caruso of Holden; two grandchildren, Michele Lovell and her husband David, with whom she lived, and Robert Barbato and his wife Linda of Worcester; two great grandchildren, Christina Bourdelais and her husband Joseph, and Kaitlyn Gillis and her husband Michael; two great-great grandchildren, Timothy and Jacob Bourdelais. She was predeceased by several siblings, Mary Ferraro, Alphonse Caruso, George “Chic” Caruso, Antonio Caruso and Peter Caruso. Grace was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Matteo and Porzia (Tatalo) Caruso. Grace and her husband raised their family in Worcester and took the opportunity to move to Ellenton, Florida after retiring, they later returned to Worcester, and in 1997, she moved to Holden to live with her granddaughter. Grace loved her family and was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She believed in her church and was a long-time member of the Rose Club. Calling Hours for Grace will be held on Tuesday, November 29, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 30, from the funeral home with a cortege departing at 9:30 a.m. in procession to a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton Street, Worcester, MA. Interment will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery.
