Pricilla L. (Popham) Houle, age 94, a lifetime resident of Worcester, died peacefully Thursday, November 24, 2016 in St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center surrounded by her loving family. Her beloved husband of 59 years, Warren E. Houle passed away January 2, 2005. Priscilla is survived by her three sons, Richard E. Houle and his wife Jeanne of Auburn, Russell Houle and his wife MaryAnn of Worcester and Joseph Houle and his wife Donna of Shrewsbury; five grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. She is predeceased by a son, William Houle; a sister, Esther Gordon and a grandson, Michael Houle. Pricilla was born in Worcester, daughter of George H. and Elizabeth L. (Love) Houle. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Pricilla worked for many years as a clerk for Shack’s Clothing Store. She had such a spirit of adventure and thrived on seeing new places and experiencing different cultures. She enjoyed fitness and was an avid bowler. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Rockwell Unit-3 West for their loving care and support, especially her caregivers Sheila and David. Pricilla’s funeral will be held Wednesday, November 30th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a procession to North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn where her celebration of life mass will be held at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A period of calling hours will be held from 9:15 am to 10:15 am prior to departing for Mass.
