Domenic A. Caporelli

March 21, 1929 — November 9, 2016

Domenic “Dom” A. Caporelli, 87, of Jefferson formerly of Worcester died peacefully on Saturday November 19, 2016 in the comfort of his home and loving family. His wife Joanna (Grampetro) Caporelli died 2013. Domenic leaves his Loving family; a son Joseph Caporelli of Jefferson, two daughters, Rosann Pezzella and her husband Ralph with whom he lived and Gail Caporelli of Blackstone his grandson Michael Pezzella he was so proud of, and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a grandson William Goulet, and his brothers and sisters; John and Virginio Caporelli, and Anna Catacchio, and Antoinette Frazer.  Domenic was born in Worcester son of the late Nicholas and Rosina (Giannitti) Caporale and lived most of his life in his beloved Shrewsbury Street neighborhood before moving to Jefferson several years ago. He attended Worcester Public Schools. Dom worked as a Forger for the Wyman Gordon Company in Grafton for 38 years before he retired. Dom was a life member of the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann. He loved to play cards, Travel, and really enjoyed a good Italian Meal. He was a quiet man but was the best husband, father and grandfather anyone could ask for. He will truly be missed by his family and friends. According to Dom’s wishes all services are being held privately. Inurnment will be in St. John’s Cemetery with Joanna. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association 72 East Concord Street Boston, Ma. 02118.
