Cynthia Ann O’Garro Wade was born on July 9, 1964 in NYC, New York to Willie Jewell and Sammie McCrory. Cynthia was the youngest of four children, and was affectionately referred to as Peaches. Cynthia graduated from Reading High School in PA, and also attended Reading Community College. While attending Reading HS, Cynthia caught the eye of Charles Wade. He shared that when he saw Cynthia, he feel in love with her beautiful smile, and knew that he would marry her. However, he thought she was a teacher and didn’t want to get suspended. They met again in 1984, a year after their high school graduation, & Charles was able to confirm Cynthia’s giving personality. They married on May 4, 1987, and this royal union was blessed with their first born prince, Charles, Jr., a second prince, Jeremiah Kiaseem, and their baby princess, Ashley Diamond. Cynthia’s strength and faith was the glue of the family often getting them to the other side of many ups and downs. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, and Cynthia and Charles’ love withstood the tests of life. The Wades lived in Worcester MA for over 30 years, raised their family here, & worked at Allegro for fifteen years. In Worcester, they met many people with whom they had a common love for the Lord and a desire to serve Him. Cynthia shared her several gifts & talents in the House of the Lord. She was part of the choir, including a leadership role as director; a member of the Praise & Worship team; a vacation bible school teacher; & whatever else her hands found to do. More than anything, Cynthia loved and was devoted to & very protective of her family. She pushed them to achieve the high aspirations she had for them, and nothing blessed her more than spending time with them, cooking for them, and depositing in them Christian values. Cynthia fought health challenges for several years, & through it all, she trusted and believed in God. She would often encourage those, who came to encourage her. She departed this life on November 18, 2016, and shared that she was reaching out to God’s hands. She leaves to mourn her death, but celebrate her life, her royal family, husband of 30 years Charles Wade, Sr.; sons Charles Wade, Jr. & Jeremiah; daughter, Ashley, all of Worcester, MA; her mother, Willie Jewel McCrory of Worcester; her sisters, Peacola (deceased Wallace) Evans of Reading, PA, Ellen (Larry) Abney of Worcester, & Rosemarie (Russel) Patrick of Atlanta, GA; a brother Jonathan Williams of Washington, D. C; & her brother Larry Pollard, who predeceased her. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, grandnieces & nephews, her dog, Titus, & countless friends, colleagues, & other soldiers in the Army of the Lord. Her generosity, kindness and loving spirit will be greatly missed.
