Jessica L. Rawlston, 31 of Oxford, formerly of Worcester, passed away after a battle with breast cancer at UMass Medical Center on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 surrounded by her family. Jessica is survived by her three sons, Caiden, Logan and Liam Valipour; her fiancé, Behnam Valipour all of Oxford; her parents, Timothy F. and Gail J. (Turner) Rawlston; her brother, Timothy G. Rawlston; her grandfather, Francis Murphy; three nephews, Gavin, Cameron and Sami all of Worcester; many aunts, uncles and cousin whom she had a special bond with. She is predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Timothy Rawlston and Phyllis (Booker) Murphy; her maternal grandparents, Raymond and Joan (Irwin) Turner; and her step grandfather, Louis Castro. Jessica was born in Worcester where she graduated from North High School. She later attended Anna Maria College. Jessica lived in Worcester her whole life until moving to Oxford a year ago. She worked privately as a nanny for many years. Jessica enjoyed reading, movies, music, “Black Friday” sales and spending time with her family especially at Old Orchard Beach. She started a Facebook page called “Breast Friends” where she and others whom also had breast cancer could connect. Jessica loved her family so much and they all were extremely precious to her. Services for Jessica will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Saint Stephen’s Church, 357 Grafton St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester. A period of calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 13th from 3-7 p.m. in the funeral home.
