Vincent “Vincenzo” Nozzolillo, II of Worcester passed away suddenly in his sleep Wednesday, November 9, 2016, joining in heaven his mother Esther who passed away October 21st. He was 53 years of age. Vincent was born in Worcester on July 24th 1963, a son of the late Vincent “Jim” and Esther (Santa Maria) Nozzolillo. He graduated from North High School class of 1981, where he was a standout hockey team goalie. Vincent then earned his Paralegal degree from Becker Junior College. Vincent then held several employment opportunities over his years, notably as security supervisor protecting and securing properties in the Worcester County Area. Vincent’s mother Esther whom he lived with and cared for over the past years passed away October 21st. He is survived by his three brothers whom he loved dearly, Victor and James Nozzolillo of Worcester, Mark Nozzolillo and his wife Anne of Woodstock CT; Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and many friends. Quite in personality, Vincent lived a simple life of caring for his mother, enjoying special times with his brother Victor, his work and his faith. He loved Hockey, especially the Bruins, History of the U.S. and The World, and Politics; always willing to debate his views when asked. He enjoyed old movies and collecting facts on anything. Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours Monday, November 14th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. His funeral will be held Tuesday, November 15th from the funeral home with a procession to Our Lady of Loreto Church, 33 Massasoit Rd. beginning at 9:40 am, where his celebration of life Mass will be held at 10:00 am. Burial with his parents will follow in St John Cemetery.
