Ricky C. Weatherspoon, 28, of Worcester, has sadly passed away from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. Ricky leaves behind two daughters, Aaliyah R. Weatherspoon and Jadalise M. Bonaporte; his longtime girlfriend and the mother of his daughters, Arlines Davila; his mother Rachel (Jewett) Pettiway and his step-father, Kenneth R. Pettiway all of Worcester; his father, Ricky C. Weatherspoon, Sr. of St Louis, MO; three sisters, Rykka L. Weatherspoon, Aquiel K. and Jaidynn R. Pettiway all of Worcester; his brother, Marcus McClam of Kentucky; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Claudia (Lowe) Jarratt of Harvard, MA; his paternal grandmother, Eva Mae (Deberry) Weatherspoon of Kentucky; his beloved niece, Naileigh N. Hall of Worcester; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Ricky was born in Fitchburg and lived in Worcester most of his life where he was a graduate of Burncoat High School. He worked as a landscaper for Worcester Housing Authority. Ricky previously worked as a machine operator for various companies. He loved basketball and music. Ricky will forever be remembered as fun, loving and very outgoing. You could always find Ricky spending time with his family and friends who he loved very much. A period of calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 9-11 a.m. with his funeral service to immediately follow at 11 a.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.
