Michael E. Towle, 54, of Millbury, died October 22, 2016 at his home. He was born in Worcester, MA on August 14, 1962 to Everett & Janet Towle of New Mexico He graduated from Sutton High School in 1980 and continued his education at the University of Connecticut where he graduated Sum Cum Laude in 1984 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He worked for ten years at Arthur Anderson in Boston as a CPA before opening his own business, Fort Hill Partners, LLP. Mike spent every waking minute thinking about and loving his daughter Ava, 12, of Sutton, whom he sadly leaves behind. Mike is also survived by and will lovingly be remembered by his parents, Everett and Janet (Ledoux) Towle, formerly of Dudley, now residing in New Mexico; 5 siblings, Brian E. Towle and his wife Thalia of Whitinsville, Darlene M. Howley and her husband John of Pittsburgh, Pa, Cheryl Tilton and her husband James of Arizona, Leslie A. Lamoreaux and her husband David of New Mexico, and Larry E. Towle and his wife Michelle of Chalfont, Pa. He also leaves behind 13 cherished nieces and nephews with whom he adored spending his time. Mike was immensely proud of his roots as a Sutton Sammie and UConn Huskie. He was a sports enthusiast, not a week went by when he was not following NCAA sports, the NBA, NFL and MLB, especially his beloved Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics and the Pats. He also enjoyed golfing and U.S History. He was a member at Whitinsville Golf Club for many years. Mike cherished his family and friends. He spent much of his leisure time with his best friends from high school, Tim Murray and Tony Godbout. He valued their friendship tremendously and enjoyed sharing stories and laughing about their antics and old times. Michael enjoyed playing school, mini-golfing and playing Sorry along with other board games with Ava. He would never pass up eating a burnt hot dog, or two. Family, friends, and others whose lives Michael touched are invited to MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2016. His funeral will be celebrated on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 11:00 am in St. Mark Parish at 356 Boston Road, Sutton, MA. Burial will follow privately in Rural Cemetery, Worcester.
