Donna-Lee (Tiesler) Perro, 73 of Safety Harbor Florida and Worcester passed away peacefully Monday,October 24th 2016, with her children gathered by her side.Donna-Lee one of four children of the late Clarence W. and Eleanor (Polselli) Tiesler, was born in Worcesteron November 9th 1942. Donna-Lee graduated from Commerce High School, and was employed by RyanBake Shop Inc. In 1962 at the age of 20, Donna-Lee married Anthony D. “Junnie” Perro who had begun abusiness on Grafton Hill, “Perro’s House of Flowers”. Residing in the same building, Donna-Lee helped herhusband to establish and grow their business and raise their three children. In her later years, Donna-Leewas employed as a cafeteria worker with the Worcester Public Schools Department. Before retiring, she andTony then spent their summers in Worcester and winters in Safety Harbor Florida. In retirement and afterturning the Flower shop over to their son Rodney, Donna-Lee would spend time in the shop helpingwherever she could and greeting customers. She was a very social, loving and giving person to whomevershe met. On most Sundays when able, Donna-Lee would co-ordinate the Sunday Social’s after Mass at StPeters Church.Donna-Lee’s husband of 53 years Anthony “Junnie” passed away in January of 2015. She is survived by herthree children, Anthony W. Perro and his wife Victoria of Palm Harbor, Florida, Rodney J. Perro and his wifeDeborah of Worcester, Nadyne M. Perro and her fiancée Michael Bernier of Auburn; two sisters, ElaineAndros and her husband Walter of Worcester, and Jo-Ann DeFosse of Upton; seven grandchildren shecherished and found so much love with, Sean, Joshua, Nicolas, Louis, Jessica, Gianna and Justin; two greatgrandchildren; Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A brother Jerome Tiesler, and her lifetime companion pet Shadow pre deceased her.Donna-Lee loved the Hampton and Tidewater Beaches in New Hampshire, ceramics, cooking, Syrian foodand reading. She was the light of her family, putting, her husband, children and grandchildren first no matterwhat. The greatest times in her life were those spent with family, at the shop or special occasion gatheringshere and in Florida. She will be dearly missed.Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours Sunday, October 30th from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm in theMERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be held Monday, October31st from the funeral home with a procession to St. Peters Church, 931 Main St where her celebration of lifeMass will be celebrated at 10:30 am. Burial next to her husband and family will follow in St John’s Cemetery.
