Pauline (Najarian) Camarra

July 3, 1927 — October 21, 2016

Pauline “pie” (Najarian) Camarra, of Shrewsbury formerly of Worcester passed away with family gathered by her bedside Friday, October 21st 2016, after a brief period of declining health.  Pauline’s husband of 42 years, Vincent J. Camarra passed away November 20th 1990.  She is survived by her four devoted daughters, Nancy Masciarelli and her husband Thomas of St Augustine, Florida, Susan Smyth and her husband Al of Uxbridge, Donna Scavone of Worcester, Paula Castelli and her husband David  with whom she lived; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren; Nieces and nephews.   A grandson Timothy Scavone as well as two brothers, Joseph Najarian, Sr. and Ara Najarian pre deceased her.   She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Garabed and Mary (Tarab) Najarian and lived her life in Worcester until moving to Shrewsbury 25 years ago.  Pauline was a member of St Mary’s Church.   She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother who lived her entire life surrounded by family.  Pauline’s funeral mass will be held Tuesday, October 25th at 12 noon in St Mary’s Church, 640 Main St. Shrewsbury.  Burial next to husband and grandson will follow in Hope Cemetery.  Calling hours are private.   The family request that flowers be omitted and memorial remembrances be made to the Worcester County Food Bank,   474 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
