Marco Antonio Ramos, Sr., 42, of Whitinsville, formerly of Worcester passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Marco was born on August 14, 1974 to Milagros Jimenez Ramos and Ernesto Ramos in Worcester where he was raised and attended Burncoat High School. After high school Marco proudly served his Country in the United States Army. Marco was employed as a Machine Operator for Woonsocket Glass Company in Whitinsville, MA prior to his death. Marco had a passion for riding motorcycles and he enjoyed several outdoor activities such as hiking at Purgatory Chasms, visiting the local beaches and sightseeing at various attractions. Marco also loved to cook, especially while entertaining his friends and family who enjoyed his culinary gifts. He was a dedicated and hard worker, who was always enthusiastic to learn something new and then to teach it to those around him. His quest for knowledge was ongoing and he loved to discuss current events. He also had a great sense of humor and his laugh was contagious to those in his presence. The one thing that brought Marco the most joy in life was sharing all of his interests and hobbies while spending time with his close friends and family. He was an amazing father, who was patient and caring, a loving husband and an adoring son. Marco touched the lives of so many people and he will be forever missed by those that had the pleasure to have met him. Among his survivors Marco leaves his mother, Milagros Jimenez Ramos of Worcester; his father, Ernesto Ramos; his wife Ana Maria Bogue of Whitinsville; three sons, Marco A. Ramos, Jr. of Worcester, Vincent Ramos and Giovanni Ramos both of Foster, RI; two daughters, Cynthia Marie Ramos of Florida and Diamond Caprice Bogue of Worcester, two brothers, Javiel Ramos of Putnam, CT and Orlando Ramos of Webster, MA; his maternal grandmother Mercedes Louisa Jimenez; his paternal grandmother Jovita Rivera Grajales; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Francisco Jimenez, Sr.; and his uncle Francisco Jimenez, Jr. Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 PLANTATION ST. WORCESTER, MA. A funeral service will be celebrated the following day on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 11:00 am in the funeral home followed by a procession to Saint John Cemetery for final committal services.
