Irmingard Hagl

May 3, 1930 — September 14, 2016

Irmingard M. (Eberl) Hagl, 86 of Worcester died peacefully Wednesday September 14, 2016  at the St. Francis Home with her family at her side. Her husband George A. Hagl died in 2001. Irmingard is survived by her loving family, two sons, Peter J. Eberl and his wife Germaine of Worcester, and Stanley Hagl and his wife Michelle of West Boylston. She was the grandmother to Max Hagl and Dawn Felt of West Boylston. Irmingard also leaves a sister in law Ann Hagl of Uxbridge, and Anita Riebl of Worcester and a niece Barbara Amsden Lovett of Texas. She also leaves many great nieces and nephews in Texas. She was predeceased by several siblings. Irmingard was born in Munich Germany daughter of the late Josef Heigl and Irma (Eberl) Richthammer and came to the United States many years ago. Irmingard loved being a homemaker to her family. She loved to cook, especially during the holidays with her family around her. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, and enjoyed a good book, although her most treasured times were when she was with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. The family wished to thank the staff at St. Francis for the loving care shown to Irmingard and the dedicated nurses and staff at the Notre Dame Hospice. All services for Irmingard will be private and at the family’s convenience. There are no calling hours and burial will be in St John’s Cemetery. Irmingard loved animals so in her memory contributions to a local animal organization would be appreciated.
