Clifford Lee “Cliffy” Spencer, 63 of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 after being stricken ill. Clifford was born on February 22, 1953, the son of the late Vernon Lee and Regina Mary (McNally) Spencer, Jr. He leaves behind three sons, Kurt Vernon, Craig Raymond and Keith Clifford Spencer all of Worcester; three grandchildren, Craig Raymond Spencer, Jr., Angelo Patrick and Gemma Angelina Spencer; three sisters, Elaine Parkins of Worcester, Frances Flagg of Millbury and Kathleen Healy and her husband Stephen of Palm Coast, FL and his many nieces and nephews of whom he was very close to. Clifford is predeceased by two nephews, Stephen Michael Healy, Jr. and Justin Michael Howe. He will also be missed by his many friends some of which were lifelong. Cliffy graduated from Burncoat High School. He worked for many years at Serrato Sign Company and most recently Duclos Painting Company until retiring. Cliffy mostly enjoyed going to Old Orchard Beach, Maine on “huge” family trips. He had a great love for fishing which he shared with his Dad, his sons and many of the other family members. Cliffy had a great sense of humor and could always make you laugh even at the worst of times. His family and friends have already begun to share and laugh with all the memories they carry from him and of him. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. immediately followed by his funeral service at 7 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.
