Ricci G. Godin

Ricci G. Godin, 61, a beloved husband, father, brother and friend passed away July 14, 2016 in UMass Memorial Medical Center.Ricci was born on November 2, 1954 in Worcester; he was the son of the late Edward J. Godin and has lived in Worcester all his life. He was a mechanic for all of his professional life and an avid Bruins fan having both played hockey and coached for several years in Worcester. Ricci will be sadly missed by his wife of 21 years, Susan N. (Anyon) Godin; three sons, Jamie Carrier of Worcester, Donald Anyon of Whitensville and Steven Anyon of Worcester; a daughter, Tammy Anyon of Worcester; his mother, Dorothy (Porcaro) Kozlowski; two brothers, Joseph Godin of Auburn and Edward Godin of RI; two sisters, Carol Ford-Fields of Webster and Linda Pelkey of Munson. He also leaves grandchildren and nieces and nephews.A celebration of Ricci’s life will be held at the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street in Worcester on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 10:30AM. Burial will follow to Old Howard Cemetery in Sutton. Friends are invited to call at funeral home from 4-7PM on Monday, July 18th.
