Kathleen D. Robbins

Kathleen D. Robbins, 61, a beloved sister, aunt and a friend to many passed away to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home. Kathleen was born on August 1, 1954 in Worcester; she was the daughter of the late Alfred F. and Joyce M. (Nelson) Robbins and has lived in Worcester most of her life. She earned her bachelor's degree in Home Economics and Education from Framingham State University and taught home economics in the Brockton School System and Culinary Arts at Grafton Job Corp.  She also graduated from Johnson & Wales University receiving an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts. She had a gift for teaching and motivated her students to achieve greatness.   She loved her family.  She had a passion for cooking and enjoyed making delicious dishes for her family and friends. She also loved traveling and vacations by the ocean.  She was an avid lover of dogs.    Kathleen will be sadly missed by her sister Brenda Rice and her husband Michael of Florida; her finance James Daniels; her two very close friends, Kathy Turner and Cheryl Baskin; devoted cousin Sharon Weeks; her nephew, Kristopher, whom she cherished and adored and a host of aunts and cousins.  She was predeceased by a sister, Lisa L. Robbins.
