Donald L. Cross, 79 of Worcester passed away peacefully surrounded by family Monday, June 13th 2016 joining in heaven family members and his dear wife Sandra. Donald was born in Worcester, his parents were the late Harold and Isabelle (Hodgerney) Cross. He attended Worcester Boys Trade and joined the U.S. Air force to serve his country during the Korean War. Upon his discharge from the service, Donald married Sandra McWha and together began a 56 year marriage of love and togetherness raising their family until Sandra passed away in 2013. Donald also at the same time began a 38 year employment with the Wright Machine Company retiring from there in 1999. Donald is survived by his three sons; Harold Cross and his companion Laurie Croft of N.Brookfield, David Cross and his companion Dorothy Bradley of Auburn and Jeffrey Cross; a sister, Dolores Brown of Webster; 13 grandchildren; 27 Great Grandchildren; Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides his wife Sandra and parents; a sister Beverly Booth also pre deceased him. Donald was a quiet man who enjoyed the simple pleasures of family. A Graveside memorial service with U.S. Air Force Honors will be held Friday, June 17th at 12:30 pm in Hope Cemetery, 160 Webster Street. There are no calling hours.
