Marjorie K. Hoelzel

Marjorie K. (Beckford) Hoelzel, 86, formerly of Haverhill, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016, in Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation of Westborough.  She leaves her beloved husband, Theodore G. Hoelzel; many nieces and nephews, including Alfred DiBartolomeo of Worcester, Sharon Hennessy of Scituate and Karen Morgan of Stewart, Florida; and a brother, Alan Beckford of New Mexico.  She was pre-deceased by two brothers and a sister, Robert M. Beckford, Richard Beckford, and Mary DiBartolomeo.  She was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, daughter of the late, Harold W. and Barbara K. (Stevens) Beckford.  She went back to school later in life and graduated from North Essex Community College, in Haverhill MA, while working for New England Telephone Company, from where she retired, as a supervisor, after thirty years of dedication.  She was loved by her family and will be remember fondly as a “second mom”, to her nephew and nieces. There are no funeral services or calling hours.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, Worcester, is honored to assiste her family.
