Maureen T. (Hennessey) Esteves, 77, of Worcester died peacefully Tuesday May 24, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Her husband Albert M. Esteves predeceased her in 1979. Maureen is survived by her two sons, Stephen A. Esteves and his wife Ingrid of Worcester, and Robert B. Esteves and his wife Jacqui of Rutland. Maureen was the doting grandmother to Krysta, Stephanie, and Alexa. She was predeceased by a daughter E. Anne Esteves in 1975. Maureen was born in Clinton Massachusetts daughter of the late James J. and E. Estelle (McCarthy) Hennessey and lived in Worcester most of her life. She was a graduate of St. Peters High School class of 1957. She worked at the former Heywood Valley Nursing Home many years ago, and then worked at the Brooks Pharmacy as a cashier before she retired. Maureen was very active at the West Boylston Senior Center and enjoyed a good card game. Her most treasured times were those spent with her family. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Maureen ‘s funeral service will be held on Friday May 27, 2016 at 11:00AM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Calling hours will be held from 9AM to 11:00AM in the funeral home prior to the service.
