Miriam (Coller) Patrick died Sunday, May 8th at UMASS/Memorial Healthcare Center, University Campus after a brief illness. Her husband of more than 60 years, Merle Patrick died in 2009. She leaves two sons, Neil and James Patrick and a daughter Joan Gerhardt, 7 grandchildren, Mathew, Jason and David Patrick, Emily Chahade, Melissa Berkowitz Lindsay Jabbawy and Kali Patrick, her twin sister Ethel Feldman of PA. and 13 great grandchildren. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Max and Cecelia (Rozenkrantz) Coller and graduated Commerce High School. Miriam and her husband Merle founded Patrick Motors in Worcester. She was a lifelong member of Temple Emanuel, now Temple Emanuel/Sinai and its Ladies Auxiliary, B’Nai Brith Women, Worcester Chapter of Hadassah and Mt. Pleasant Country Club, now called The Haven. She was a charter member of The Willows and was an avid bridge player and golfer. Her greatest pleasure was being with her family, especially for the holidays. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 on Wednesday, May 11th at Temple Emanuel/ Sinai, 661 Salisbury St. Burial will take place in B’Nai Brith Cemetery in Worcester. Memorial observance will be announced.
