Robert M. Bolduc, 80 of Lowell, formerly of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Robert, a devoted family man, was born in Worcester, one of 10 children to Armand and Regina (Delisle) Bolduc. He graduated from Commerce High school, joined the U.S. Army serving his country during the Korean War. On May 21st 1966, he married Rose Frascolla, and for the next 50 years he lived in love of family in Lowell. Robert was employed as a compositor for the Courier Citizen Printing Company until he accepted the position of records manager for the City of Lowell, a job he held for the next 21 years before retiring. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Rose; his children, Paul Bolduc, his wife Laura and their sons, Robert, Trevor and Justin of Hudson NH, Lena Quadros, her husband David and their sons, Davey and Alex; his sister Rita Kubert and her husband Robert of West Brookfield and his brother, Armand and his wife Betty of Florida; and many loving nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by six brothers, John, Raymond, Henry, Rene, Richard, and Wilfred Bolduc and a sister, Mary Dube. Robert believed that his wife; children and grandchildren always came first in his life. He was a heartfelt person who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; spending time with family and friends, family dinners, traveling with Rose and in-laws, Frank Frascolla, Greg Cooper, Marie Frascolla, George Frascolla and his wife Jean, to various places in the US and around the world. He especially enjoyed attending his grandson’s activities like basketball games. His faith was special to him. He was a Eucharistic minister and choir member of the former Sacred Heart Church in Lowell and a member of Holy Family in Lowell. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge in Lowell. Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours, Wednesday, May 4th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL; 370 Plantation St., Worcester. His funeral will be held Thursday, May 5th from the funeral home with a procession to Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Road where his Mass will be held at 11:15 am.
