Spero "Skip" Dodos, 68, of Charlton passed away on April 27, 2016 at Rose Monahan Hospice after suffering a sudden illness. Skip was born in Worcester, MA; his parents were the late Nicholas and Evelyn (Mattis) Dodos. He graduated from North High School in Worcester. Skip owned and operated Ashland Dental Laboratory in Ashland, MA providing high quality services to dentists in Middlesex and Worcester Counties for over 35 years. He is survived by his brother Nicholas and his wife Jennifer of Orange County, California and their children Matthew and Olivia; his three sons: James Dodos and his wife Suzanne and their daughters Rachel and Katherine, Michael Dodos and his wife Karen and their daughters Kaitlyn and Emily; Paul Dodos; and his partner Beth DiMaggio. His sister, Patricia Dodos, passed away March 26th. He was a member of St Joseph's Church in Worcester, MA. He enjoyed music, dancing, tennis, biking, flying, astronomy, the outdoors, annual trips to Aruba and most importantly spending quality time with his family and friends, especially his granddaughters. He will be remembered for his smile, generous support of those in need, unique sense of humor, gift for gab and booming laugh. Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours Wednesday, May 4th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. His funeral will be held Thursday, May 5th from the funeral home with a procession to St. Joseph Church, 31 Hamilton St where the Reverend Steven LaBaire will celebrate Skips funeral mass at 11:00 am. Burial will be in St Luke Cemetery, Westborough.
