Frances (Notorangelo) Tomasetta, 79, formerly of Worcester, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016, surrounded by her loving family at Northwest Regional Medical Center in Margate, Florida. Her husband, John Tomasetta, predeceased her. Frances is survived by her three sons, Robert L. Chiras and his wife Venise of Coral Springs, FL, David Chiras of Barre, and Stephen Chiras of Pembroke Pines, FL; two sisters, Rosemarie Shooshan of Worcester, and Alice DeMarco of Holden; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was deceased by two sisters, Josephine Gallo and Helen Bovenzi. Frances was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Joseph and Antoinette (Macaruso) Notorangelo. She had been a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, and spending every opportunity with her family. She had worked in the housekeeping department at WPI, and had previously worked at Boulevard Pharmacy and the former Manzi Grocery Store. Calling Hours for Frances will be in Sunday, May 1, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her Funeral will be held on Monday, May 2, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
