Winifred “Winnie” (Dadah) Pierce, Esq., of Worcester, who touched so many lives in her 77 years on this earth, passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 8th 2016. She was born and raised in Worcester, the daughter of the late George A. and Winifred T. (Assad) Dadah. Winnie was an Assumption College graduate and continued her education at New England School of law, where she earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree. She was a practicing attorney in Worcester for over thirty years, as well as a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association. Winifred was a talented artist and enjoyed taking art classes at Worcester State University up until the time of her passing. She was also a member of the Worcester Art Museum. She especially enjoyed painting and she had a flare for the abstract. Some of her accomplishments were displayed at local events here and around Worcester. Winnie’s art was often inspired by her world travels to places such as, Florence, Italy, the Prado in Madrid, Spain, and the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. She also loved the colors of fall in New England; Winnie would often stop to take photos capturing new foliage with every snap. Winifred’s greatest passion in life was for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and loved ones and will be greatly missed by all that had the opportunity to know her. Winifred is survived by her five children, Wendy Pierce, Michael Pierce, Mark Pierce and his wife Lourdes, Christine (Pierce) Pellegrino and her husband Nicholas, Jeffrey Pierce and his partner Arthur LaRiviere; four siblings, Anthony J. Dadah, Francis G. Dadah, Louise (Dadah) Tellini and George T. Dadah; Eleven Grandchildren; six Great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family during calling hours on Tuesday, April 12th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, April 13th from the funeral home with a procession to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St, West Boylston, MA, where her Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.
