Pauline T. (Dulieu) Ward, 89, of Worcester, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016, at her home at The Homestead Hall in Worcester. Pauline is survived by her loving family, including four daughters, Carol A. Carlo of Worcester, Diane V. Ward of Sturbridge, Susan M. Looney of Shrewsbury, and Pamela J. Phillips of Apex, NC; five sons, Raymond L. Ward, Jr. of Narragansett, RI, Jeffrey R. Ward of Northborough, David A. Ward of Barre, Kenneth J. Ward of Ocala, FL, and Mark P. Ward of Millbury; a sister Georgette Tek of Pawtucket; seventeen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Pauline was predeceased by a son, Robert B. Ward in 2007. She was also predeceased by a brother, Gaston Dulieu, Jr. and by a sister, Louise Fournier. Pauline was born in Central Falls, RI, daughter of the late, Gaston and Justine (Beauvais) Dulieu, and graduated from Saint John’s Academy in Pawtucket; later settling in Worcester in 1964. Pauline was a member of Saint Joan of Arc Church. She loved her large family and enjoyed all of the special times she spent with them, especially the times spent at her beloved Rhode Island beaches. Pauline’s family would like to thank all of the staff at Homestead Hall and at Summit Eldercare, for the kindness and their loving compassion shown to Pauline and her family. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 31, at 11 a.m. in Saint Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln Street, Worcester (Please go directly to the church). There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden Street, Worcester, MA 01606.
