Dale R. Bernard

Dale R. Bernard,50, of Cherry Valley, died Saturday morning March 19, 2016 in the Care One at Millbury after a battle with cancer. Dale leaves his loving family; a daughter Jessica Murphy and her husband Andrew, a son Joseph Bernard of Worcester fiancee of the late Chanel, a brother Robert Bernard and his wife Dianne all of Worcester, two sisters Denise Ingerman and her husband Robert of Plainview N.Y. and Diane Dwyer and her husband Bruce of Cherry Valley. Dale also leaves his grandchildren Jose, Jayden, Ava, and Joseph.  He was predeceased by a brother R. Paul Bernard who died in 2006.  A sister in law Karen Magnuson-Bernard, as well as many  nieces and nephews. Dale was born in Worcester son of the late Raymond Bernard and Mary (Gentile) Riordan and lived in Worcester most of his life before moving to Cherry Valley. He was a graduate of South High School. Dale was a self employed sub contracter for many years in the Worcester area. He loved to cook and also liked to go fishing. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Calling hours for Dale will be held on Monday evening March 28, from 4PM to 7PM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Private inurnment will be in St. Johns Cemetery.
