Kathleen Ursula (Hassett) Toscano, 80 of Jefferson, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Jewish Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving and heartbroken family. Ursula’s husband of 57 years, Anthony Toscano passed away in 2009. She is survived by four daughters, Diana Penny and her husband Joseph of Auburn, Angela Toscano of Yarmouth Port, Joanna Toscano of Jefferson and Christina Plaud of Millbury; seven grandchildren, Alicia Raskett and her husband Michael, Michael Penny, Corey Deluna, Jessica Penny, Mark Deluna, Anthony Bechard and Rachael Plaud; four great grandchildren, Orion Young, Carmine Penny, Aubrey and Bradley Raskett; many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. She is predeceased by four sons, Joseph, Mark, Michael and Anthony Toscano, Jr.; two daughters, Kathleen R. Toscano and Gina Bechard and a sister, Elizabeth “Bette” Catino. Ursula was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Henry F. and Kathleen (Horan) Hassett. She attended Worcester Girls Trade and was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Church. Ursula was an accomplished artist, enjoyed interior decorating, politics, all wildlife, gardening and watching her favorite player David Ortiz. Ursula's greatest happiness in life was being with her children. Devoting herself to her family with joy, laughter, an unstoppable imagination, Irish temper, wit, intelligence and incredible inner strength and faith in Mary the Blessed Mother, Jesus and God.
