Mark J. Latuga

Mark J. Latuga, 50, of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at UMass Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.Mark is survived by his two sons, Joseph M. Latuga of San Francisco, and Anthony M. Latuga and his fiancé Briana F. Miller of Worcester; his parents, Mario L. and Joan M. (Pierce) Latuga of Worcester; a brother, Robert P. Latuga and his wife Susan of Worcester; his former wife, Sandra Manning of Worcester; two nephews, Daniel J. White of Worcester, and David P. White of Webster. He was born in Worcester, graduated from Burncoat Senior High School, and has lived here most of his life.Mark worked for many years as a service technician at Westerman Restaurant Equipment in Worcester. He loved his family and was very proud of his sons, together they explored the outdoors and enjoyed many camping trips. He spent many years racing “RC” cars with his brother. He also enjoyed watching all types of car racing, from road rallies, to formula one.Calling Hours for Mark will be held on Saturday, March 5, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital, by visiting www.stjude.org.
