Thomas V. Mulcahy, 61, of Sutton, passed away Friday, February 26th at home with his family after battling cancer for many years. He is survived by his wife, Patricia I. (Lahair) Mulcahy, with whom he recently celebrated his 39th wedding anniversary. He leaves two sons: Nicholas V. Mulcahy and wife Alyssa Mulcahy of Marlborough; Patrick D. Mulcahy of Sutton; one daughter: Erin P. Mulcahy of Dudley; and one granddaughter Ella Louise Mulcahy of Marlborough. He was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. Thomas leaves six brothers: Michael E. and wife Kathy Mulcahy of Rutland, Paul F. and wife Cindi Mulcahy of Colorado, Kevin R. and wife Connie Mulcahy of Washington, James J. and wife Noreen Mulcahy of Charlton, John L. and wife Janet Mulcahy of Canada and Phillip A. and wife Cyndi Mulcahy of Shrewsbury; five sisters: Patricia A. and husband Thomas Moore of Florida, Kathryn M. and husband Michael Thompson of Florida, Eileen L. and husband Philip Scavone of Florida, Joanne M. and husband Terry O'Brien of Northborough and MaryAnn Mulhearn of Auburn; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Favreau of Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by: his father, Vincent J. Mulcahy; his mother, Louise E. Mulcahy; and his sister, Carolyn M. Favreau. Tom was born in Worcester, MA and graduated from St. Peter’s Central Catholic High School. He then graduated from Worcester State College, where he was captain of the ice hockey team during his senior year. He went on to spend 38 years as a math teacher at Shepherd Hill Regional High School where he also coached hockey and football. Visiting Hours are Tues.
