Florence (Rossetti) Mierzejewski, 95, of Worcester, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 25, 2016 with her family by her side. Her husband of 40 years, Stanley J. Mierzejewski died in 1985. Born on May 18, 1920 in Worcester MA, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Domenica (Mangano) Rossetti. Before her retirement, Flo worked for Howard Brothers Manufacturing Company in Auburn for many years. She enjoyed dancing: square dancing, ballroom dancing and especially line dancing. Florence will be sadly missed by her daughters, Debi A. Carroll of Worcester and Robin L. Lauder and her husband Robert of Leicester; three brothers, Joseph, Phillip and Freddie Rossetti all from Worcester; her five grandchildren, Jason Lauder of Leicester, Toby Lauder and his wife Gina of Leicester, Kylie Lindberg and her husband Stephen of Auburn, Larisa Carroll of Spencer, and Jonathan Carroll of Worcester; and five great grandchildren, Tighe and Rocco Lauder, Bodhi Lindberg, Elizabeth Lauder and Nina Dykas. She was predeceased by three brothers, Julian, John and Frank Rossetti and three sisters, Emma LaPlume, Stella Laprad and Beatrice Ambrose. A celebration of Florence’s life will be held at the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Johns Cemetery where she will be buried along-side her husband, Stanley. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service on Monday.
