Ann S. (Zenaro) Chiusano, 92, of Worcester passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, February 13, 2016. Ann is survived by her devoted family, including her cherished daughters, Patricia Ferrantino and her husband Joseph of Leicester, and Cindy MacDonnell of Charlton; three grandchildren, Joseph A. Ferrantino, Christina MacDonnell, and Alexa MacDonnell; nieces, nephews, and cousins. Anthony J. Chiusano, Ann’s husband of 57 years, passed away in December of 2004. She was also pre-deceased by her parents, Leonard and Nunziata (Perro) Zenaro, her two brothers, Frank and Charles Zenaro and her sister, Rose Vigliotti. Ann lived in Worcester all her life, graduated from Commerce High School, and worked for the former Graton-Knight Company. She was a devoted Catholic who loved her church, Our Lady of Loreto, where she was a member of its Ladies Guild, and also volunteered at its beloved Italian Festival for many years. Ann loved going dancing with her husband, drawing and crocheting in her spare time, and cooking; no one who entered her home would ever leave hungry or empty-handed. Ann also made friends wherever she went; she truly loved going out to eat and spending time with family and friends as often as she could. For more than 50 years, she never missed a Saturday night card game with the gang. Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Tuesday, February 16th, from 4 pm to 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. in Worcester. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, February 17th from the funeral home with a procession to Our Lady of Loreto Church, 33 Massasoit Rd. where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am. Burial next to her husband will follow in St John Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name can be made to Our Lady of Loreto Church, 33 Massasoit Rd. 01604.
