James W. Racicot Sr.,61, of Worcester died peacefully Friday February 5, 2016 in the Rose Monahan Residence after an illness. James is survived by his wife of 36 years Deborah (Bronzo) Racicot. James also leaves; his sons James W. Racicot Jr. and Richard A. Racicot both of Worcester, two sisters Elizabeth Racicot of Blackstone, and Paula Harrity and her husband David of Worcester, and many nephews and nieces. James was born in Worcester son of the late Richard F. and Elizabeth (McGrail) Racicot and has lived here all his life. He was a graduate of Holy Name High School class of “72” James was an Elevator Inspector for the State of Massachusetts Department of Public Safety and was still working at the time of his death. James enjoyed fishing, golf, and anything automotive, he was a handy man that could fix anything his family and friend brought him. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Funeral Services for James will be held on Tuesday February 9, at 10:30AM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. A period of visitation with the family will be held from 9:00AM until 10:30AM in the funeral home.
