Frank S. Servideo, Jr., 87, of Worcester passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016, in his home surrounded by his loving family. Frank is survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Lucy (Dagnello) Servideo, two sons, Joseph P. Servideo and his wife Anne of Shrewsbury, and James P. Servideo and his wife Bernadette of Worcester; two daughters, Linda Russo and her husband Stephen of Holden, and Jane Barsamian and her husband John of Worcester; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Lavin, Andrew Servideo, Anthony Servideo, Matthew Servideo, Donna Servideo, Lisa Casko, Joanne Russo, and Stephanie Morrissette; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Angelo and Patsy Servideo. Frank was born in Worcester, son of the late Frank S. Servideo Sr. and his wife Bessie (Latendress) Servideo, and has lived here all his life. Frank attended Worcester public schools and served his nation in the United States Army. Frank was an avid New York Yankees fan and known for his artistic and creative abilities. He was the owner of Wingmasters Inc., Paint, Wallpaper and Carpet store which was located in Lincoln Plaza. He later worked at Carpet Town as store manager and worked there for many years before retiring in 1997. He was a member of Our Lady of The Rosary Church and enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S and Europe with his wife Lucy. His greatest joy was spending time with his loving family. Frank will be remembered for his quick wit, his creative masterpieces, and his love of cooking and gardening. Calling hours for Frank will be held on Wednesday, February 3rd from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at MERCANDANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. His Funeral will be held on Thursday, February 4th, from the funeral home, departing in procession at 9:40 a.m., for a 10 a.m. Mass in Our Lady of The Rosary Church, 25 Fales Street, Worcester, MA 01606. Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Our Lady of The Rosary – Maintenance Fund, 25 Fales Street, Worcester, MA 01606.
