Bernadette A. (Hurley) Salvidio, 77 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Saint Vincent’s Hospital. Bernadette is survived by two sons, Edward F. Salvidio, Jr. and his longtime companion Carla Schenker and Gary Salvidio and his wife Robin all of Worcester; her daughter, Donna Holbrook of Brookfield; her sister, Sister Marion Raymond Hurley, SND.; eight grandchildren, Sharon Salvidio, Amanda and Michaela Angers Bonnie Milionis, Michael Salvidio, Tina Jowers, Michael Holbrook and Kerry Holbrook; six great grandchildren, Alijah, Nyomie, Naleigha, Effie, Ava and Jake; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a great granddaughter, Alexis Graves; four brothers, Raymond, Joseph, Thomas and Gerard Hurley; four sisters, Mary Hurley, Gertrude Sliwinski, Elizabeth Rogan and Rose Julie Bond. Bernadette was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Raymond T. and Marion F. (Portle) Hurley. She graduated from Ascension School and worked as an assembler for Sprague Electric for many years. She lived in both Worcester and Rutland. Services for Bernadette will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2015 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Saint John’s Church, 40 Temple St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester. A period of calling hours will be held Saturday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the funeral home prior to departure to church.
