Joanna Roskidany

Joanna (DiPilato) Roskidany, loving wife, mother, sister and aunt passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016 in Saint Vincent Hospital. She was 71 years old and surrounded by her family. Joanna was born on March 26, 1944 in Worcester and was preceded in death by her father Joseph DiPilato and her mother Vincenza P. (Police) DiPilato. She is survived by her husband, Richard Cross; two sons, Stephen J. Roskidany and his wife Sara of New York and Daniel P. Roskidany of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; two sisters, Ruth Nelson of Worcester and Marie Beckstrom of Oxford; two grandchildren, Emily and Joseph; a nephew, Mark Nelson and his wife Lisa; a niece, Rebecca Eklund and her husband, David; two great nieces, Hannah Nelson and Kori Marie Eklund; a great nephew; Graham Nelson and several nieces and nephews. Joanna worked as an administrative assistant for EMC and was a former member of the Belmont Baptist Church. A funeral service for Joanna will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial will follow to Hope Cemetery. A period of calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home prior to her funeral service.
