Nancy M. (Levasseur) Narel, 69, of Worcester, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at her home with her loving husband and family by her side. She was born on September 2, 1946 in Webster, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Roger and Helen (Jankowski) Levasseur. Nancy was a member of St. Joan of Arc Parish. She enjoyed reading, writing, listening to music and cooking. Though, her greatest joy and love was her family and spending time with them. She leaves behind her loving husband of 31 years, Richard J. Narel; her two daughters, Christine M. Fournier and her husband Thomas of Dudley and Carla J. Murray of Kona, Hawaii; she leaves a son, Jonah P. Narel of Worcester; two step-sons, Matthew J. Narel and his wife Jennean of Maine and Leonard J. Narel and his wife Sharon of Worcester and a step-daughter, Deborah P. Hersh and her husband Jon of Northborough; nine grandchildren, Jason, Jeffrey, Aidan, Justin, Cameron, Paige-Julia, Samuel, Emily and Kayla. She is also survived by one great granddaughter, Savannah and many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Roger and Richard Levasseur and two sisters, Lorraine Pare and Suzanne Larson. Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Monday, December 7th from 4 to 7 p.m., in the Mercadante Funeral Home and Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 8th at St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St., where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. (please go directly to church). Burial will follow to St. Joseph's Garden of Peace Cemetery, Old Worcester Road Webster, MA.
