Estelle M. (Jette) Martinelli, 83 of Webster, formerly of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Estelle’s husband of 60 years, Michael J. Martinelli passed away on November 22, 2014. She is survived by three daughters, Jean Saxe with whom she lived, Rosemarie Guzman and her husband Thomas C. of Worcester, Judith Lessard and her husband James of Southbridge; six loving grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, Nicholas, Tricia, Cassandra and Brett; seven great grandchildren; a brother Richard Jette of Palm Beach, FL; a sister, Sister Cecile Jette of the sisters of the holy family order Quebec, Canada; many nieces and nephews she is predeceased by three brothers, Omer, Rene and Roland Jette; four sisters, Theresa Parenteau, Doris LeCourt, Yvette Dunn and Rita Jette. Estelle was born in Worcester, a daughter to Henry L. and Beatrice (Cote) Jette. She attended Worcester Public Schools where she lived all her life. Estelle worked as a housekeeper, privately and later for St. Vincent’s Hospital for 30 years retiring in 1975. In her younger years, she worked for Brown Shoe Company. Estelle’s passion and love was bowling. She was a state and world champion in candlepin bowling alongside her daughter Jean. She enjoyed cross-stitch, Pokeno and spending time socializing at the Worcester Senior Center. Her greatest love was all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Estelle’s family would like to thank all the staff at Beaumont Nursing Home and the Salmon Hospice Team for the outstanding care and compassion they had given her during her time of need. Estelle’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church, 340 Main St., Shrewsbury. Burial will be held privately. There are no calling hours.
