John L. Belsito, 68 of Orlando, FL., formerly of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs, Florida surrounded by his family. John is survived by four daughters, Lynnette Morlock of Worcester, Wendy Baker of Three Rivers, MA., Nikki Orozco of Ohio and Shannon Belsito of Worcester; four brothers, Salvatore Belsito of Orlando, Fl., Michael Belsito of Lehigh Acres, Fl., Tony Belsito of Richland, WA., and Joseph Belsito of Westborough; a sister, Gina Bottomley of Worcester; his companion, Sandra Anderson of Orlando; a step-daughter, Tracey Glockner of Leicester; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister, Maria Belsito-Bottomley. John was born in Worcester, a son of the late Joseph P. and Anne M. (Martellotta) Belsito. He graduated from North High School and has lived here most of his life before moving to Orlando, Florida two years ago. John worked as a barber for D'Iorio's Hair Salon. He previously worked for Perrone's Barbershop and at one point owned his own barbershop, Hairs Jonathan for many years. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. John loved golfing, the Boston Red Sox, playing cards and spending his time with his family. A period of calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.
