Elinor Ruth Bucklar

Elinor Bucklar, 97, of Delray Beach FL, formerly of Worcester, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 1st, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Elinor was born in Worcester, she was a graduate of Worcester North High School and worked for over 35 years as a Head Teller for Guaranty Bank before she retired. Elinor was a lifetime resident of Worcester and a member of the Central Congregational Church, before relocating to Delray Beach Florida, to be with her daughter, Diana, with whom she resided with for the past 20 years. Elinor enjoyed shopping and working on her daily crossword puzzles. Elinor celebrated over fifty years of marriage to John E. Bucklar before he predeceased her in 1993. They are survived by their daughter, Diana (Bucklar) Carrstedt and her husband Milton of Delray Beach FL; granddaughter, Sherrie Carrstedt of Pompano Beach, FL; grandson, Eric Carrstedt of Pompano Beach, FL; and great-grandson Eric Blakeney. Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours, Monday, October 12th , from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St, Worcester, MA.
