She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, George and Venus (Ezen) Streeter, and has lived here all her life. She was trained as a hair dresser and worked at several salons, before becoming an instructor at Rob-Roy Beauty Academy in Worcester; where she helped train students to become great at their profession. Her students might call her feisty and larger than life, but always knew it was her way of sharing her knowledge and love. Elsie was a member of Saint George Orthodox Cathedral and the Cathedral's Women's Club. She loved her church and her family and she made sure that the two were often intertwined. Her cooking was amazing and her Middle-Eastern specialties were cherished by all those who were able to taste them, especially because she made the Best Kibbe EVER!!! She loved to play BINGO, and spend time with friends. Elsie was known as a wonderful lady who was always classy and impeccably dressed; and although she may have been a petit woman, her love engulfed everyone. Calling Hours and Funeral Services for Elsie will be held on Tuesday, October 6, in Saint George Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Anna Street, Worcester. Calling hours will be held from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m., with a Trisagion Service at 9:45 a.m., followed by her Funeral Service at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery, Worcester.
