Frank G. DiLeo

Frank G. DiLeo, 88, of Millbury, formerly of Shrewsbury passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 27, 2015, with his family by his side. Frank was born in Shrewsbury, MA, the son of the late Biagio & Lucia (Colangelo) DiLeo. Frank graduated from Shrewsbury High School and went on to serve his country in the United States Army as military police. He eventually settled in Plymouth, MA where he resided for over 35 years. Frank worked for The Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. for 30 years as a manager and later for Sweet Life as an advertising consultant, before retiring in 1990. Frank recently celebrated his 64th Wedding Anniversary on September 3rd, with the love of his life Priscilla G. (Montecalvo) DiLeo. In addition to Priscilla, Frank also leaves behind his daughter, Lucille DiLeo - Recore and her husband Robert of Sutton; two sons, Frank B. DiLeo and his wife Cheryl of Sturbridge, Paul J. DiLeo and his wife Ann of Millbury; brother, Julio DiLeo; sister, Lena DiTullio; Frank was predeceased by his sister, Grace Lopriore. In addition Frank leaves eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews. Frank was an avid Golfer and enjoyed spending his winters at his condo community in Vero Beach Florida. He was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and also the Bonnie Seniors in Plymouth, MA. Frank was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and he will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 o'clock a.m. in St. Anne's Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA, on Wednesday, September 30, 2015,. Frank's burial will be held privately. There will be NO CALLING HOURS prior to the Mass. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Franks name to Parkinson's Association, 8555 Aero Dr., Suite 308,San Diego, CA 92123-1745.
