Ronald R. Beaudry, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015 at his home after a yearlong struggle with cancer. He leaves his beloved wife of 28 years, Elaine (Fenuccio) Beaudry; his dedicated children a son, James Pedone, Jr. and his wife Kristina; his daughter Tanya Beaudry-Cote and her husband Leo Cote, Jr. all of West Boylston; three grandchildren: Luis Koukoulis, Sofia and Josephine Pedone. Ronnie also leaves four surviving brothers and sisters: Nancy Nobrega of Lowell, Diane Guerin of Nashua, NH, Donald Beaudry and Robert Beaudry both of Dracut; and several nieces and nephews. Ronnie was born in Lowell, son of the late Wilbur (Blackie) and Yvette (Elie) Beaudry. He was predeceased by his sister Elizabeth Fells and his brothers David and Richard all of Dracut. Ronnie served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He graduated from UMass Lowell with a degree in Environmental Science. He retired from National Grid after 27 years of service. Ronnie was an extraordinary man in all aspects of his life; above all he loved spending time with his grandchildren who lovingly referred to him as "Papi". His passion was maintaining his garden, playing golf and watching New England Sports. His proudest moment was walking his daughter down the aisle at her recent wedding. His family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses that cared for him this past year, especially those at Dana-Farber and Brigham and Women's Hospital. The funeral will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Road, Worcester, MA. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects from 5 to 8 P.M. Thursday, September 24, 2015.
