Tamra A Mungo

Tamra A. (Trafecante) Mungo, loving wife, mother, sister and friend passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 10th 2015 after suffering a cardiac arrest at home earlier. She was 52 years of age. Tamra was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Anthony and Dolores (Davini) Trafecante. She graduated from North High School class of 1981 and earned her cosmetology degree from Rob Roy Academy. On September 14th 1986, in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Tamra married the love of her life, Graziano Mungo. Together they lived the next 29 years in love and devotion raising their family. Tamara was a dedicated and loved cosmetologist by the D'Orio family, her coworkers and customers for D'Orio's Hair Salon in Worcester for over 30 years. She also at onetime taught Dancing for Joan Yankauskas Dance School. Tamra is survived by her husband Graziano; two children, Cinzia M. Mungo in New York City and Graziano Mungo Jr of Miami; a brother and sister in law, Anthony Trafecante Jr and Gina Trafecante of Rutland; Several, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dedicated special friends. Tamra was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church. Full of Life, she loved her family, friends and customers. Whether scheduled, an emergency or just a request, Tamra would drop what she was doing and went to work to help someone in need. Her husband was her best friend and eagerly enjoyed the many trips to Italy to see family and Florida for vacation. Tamra also enjoyed antiques; She loved shopping for them in Brimfield and flea markets, and finishing antique furniture when she found the right ones. Tamra's funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, September 15th at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Entombment will follow in St John Mausoleum. There are no calling hours.
