Anthony and Maria had a truly romantic and wonderful relationship, and similar to what might happen in a fairy tale, Anthony seized an opportunity to visit Tokyo to visit with his future bride while she was dancing on a U.S.O. Tour. Anthony worked for many years as an Insurance Inspector for Travelers Insurance Company, before retiring in 1985. He was a member of Indian Meadows Country Club, where he was Club Champion in 1968 and 1969, as well as Foursome Group Champion. He also enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Columbus Civic Club. Anthony's family would like to give a special "Thank you" to all the home health aides and nurses from Epic Heath Services, who took such good care of Anthony in the past years of his life. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 10, at 11 a.m. at Saint Anne's Church, 120 Boston Turnpike Road (Route 9 East), Shrewsbury, MA. Entombment will follow at Notre Dame Mausoleum, Worcester. There are no calling hours.
