Antoinette M. Entwistle

Antoinette M. (DiBaro) Entwistle, 83, of Worcester, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015, in UMass Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of nearly sixty-one years, John W. Entwistle, passed away in April 2014. She is survived by her sons, John M. Entwistle and his wife Paula of Shrewsbury, William Entwistle, with whom she lived, Michael P. Entwistle and his wife Donna of Sterling, and Ronald J. Entwistle and his wife Dina of Holden; a brother, Michael DiBaro and his wife Gail; four sisters, Dolly Ostergard, Mikki Xanders, Joyce McLeod and her husband Edmond and Donna Cote and her husband Richard and her sister in law Grace DiBaro; seven grandchildren, Angela, Amanda, Matthew, David, Christina, Caitlin, and Jillian; three great grandchildren, Patrick, Jonathan, and Lilliana; her beloved dog Petu; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters, Dominic, Francis, and her twin Anthony DiBaro, Margaret Campbell, and Jean Walker. Antoinette was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Michael and Mary (DiStefano) DiBaro, and has lived here all her life. Antoinette worked as a dedicated Nurse's Aide for over thirty four years at Hahnemann Hospital. Upon her retirement, she kept active by working part-time at Sam's Club in Worcester, where she had the opportunity to interact with and meet many wonderful people. She most enjoyed baking and cooking for her family, and tending to her flowers; she also loved going to yard sales. She was a wonderful and loving woman who focused on her family and enjoyed the wonderful times they spent together. Calling Hours for Antoinette will be held on Monday, August 24, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25, in Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church, 24 Mulberry Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Why Me-Sherry's House, 1152 Pleasant Street, Worcester, MA 01602.
