Sarah E. (D'Angona) Ursoleo, 89 of Worcester died peacefully Friday August 14, 2015 in the Rose Monahan Residence surrounded by her loved ones. Sarah is survived by her devoted husband of 68 years John J. Ursoleo, her loving children; Eugene Ursoleo and his wife Pamela of Ventura CA., R. John Ursoleo and his wife Chelsea of Paso Roble. CA.,Judy Ohlson of Tucson, AZ. Michael Ursoleo and his fiancée Patrice Kallanian of Worcester, and Loretta Ursoleo of Nokimis FL. Sarah also leaves her brother Samuel D'Angona of Cape Cod. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Sarah was born in Worcester daughter of the late Domenic and Louisa (Zaccari) D'Angona, and was a graduate of Commerce High School. After High School she enrolled in the U.S. Cadet Nursing Program at Worcester City Hospital. She graduated and became a Registered Nurse and continued her Nursing career at the former Worcester City Hospital, the Burbank Hospital in Fitchburg and also St. Vincent's Hospital. On October 12, 1946 she and John were happily married and they settled here in Worcester and raised their family. She returned to her Profession to do Private duty nursing and became a night supervisor at the Blair House. Later in life she made a career change and became a Teachers Aide and worked over 10 years at the Roosevelt and Grafton Street Schools before she retired. Sarah and John retired in 1985 and spent 22 winters living in the Siesta Bay Park in Fort Myers Florida. While living there she became an aerobics Instructor. In 2008 she and John decided to move to South Carolina for several years before returning to Worcester to be closer to home. Sarah enjoyed singing, playing the piano,and tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. She was also a member of the Worcester Senior Center Choir Group. However her most treasured times were those spent with her husband John and their children. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Services will be held at a later date and will be announced. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Rose Monahan Hospice Home 19 Judith Rd. Worcester, MA.
