Grace (Giorgio) Donatelli

Grace R. (Giorgio) Donatelli,86, of Auburn died peacefully Thursday July 23, 2015 in the Rose Monahan Residence surrounded by her loving family. Grace leaves her devoted husband of 64 years John Donatelli, her loving children; John J. Donatelli of Auburn and Donna M. Thompson of Ayer, she was the proud grandmother to Joseph and Alex Donatelli. She also leaves her sisters in law Caroline Bonora of Texas, and Angie Giorgio of Worcester, and many nephews and nieces. Grace was predeceased by five brothers; Peter, Jerry, Stephen, Joseph, and James Giorgio, and three sisters; Antoinette "Sis" Giorgio, Mary Peters, and Anna Villatico. Grace was born in Worcester daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Tarmarro) Giorgio and lived here all her life. She attended Worcester Public Schools. In her younger years Grace had several jobs but most of all enjoyed being a Homemaker. She loved being near the Ocean, and enjoyed Dining out. Grace enjoyed working with Donna each year for the Christmas holiday chocolate making and sales. She loved the Holidays and always decorated her home for each different Holiday during the year. Grace had a zest for life and was a very sociable person, and had a special affection to Butterflies, and also had a huge collection of Teddy Bears. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Grace's funeral will be held on Wednesday July 29 in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Service at 11:00AM in the Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held from 4:00PM to 7:00PM on Tuesday. Interment will be in St. Johns Cemetery.
