Jacqueline (Pasquale) Ferguson, 68, of Worcester, passed away Friday July 17, 2015 after a courageous fight against pancreatic cancer with her loving family gathered by her side. On January 30, 1963, Jackie married Ronald P. Ferguson, Sr. her husband, soulmate, and best friend for the next 52 years. Together, they settled in the Lincoln St neighborhood, where they raised their family with love and devotion. Jacqueline was a caring woman who was always willing to help. She worked as a nurses aide for Hahnemann and Memorial hospitals, and later St Vincent Hospital, caring for the sick before retiring in 1999 after 25 years. Jacqueline leaves behind her cherished family; her soulmate Ronald, her oldest son Anthony Ferguson and his wife Lisa of Shrewsbury, her daughter Cheryl Freeman and her husband James of Worcester, and her youngest son Ronald Ferguson Jr. and his wife Cam of Lexington Park, Maryland, her brothers Daniel Pasquale and his wife Gerlinda of Leicester, and Gary Pasquale of Danielson CT, her sister, Dianne C. Jackie attended St Joan of Arc Church and was a former member of St Bernard's. Being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, her greatest joy came from being around her family. She had a great reverence for her country and was very proud of her two sons and brothers that served for it. She loved making crafts, knitting and sewing, cake decorating, baking, as well as gardening. She also really enjoyed attending The Special Olympics to cheer on all the children, but especially her grandson Mitchell. With a great deal of pride she watched over her family as they grew, cheering on their activities and accomplishments. Her spirit, wisdom and strength will continue to be remembered in her families hearts forever.
