Joseph J. Harcz

Jozsef Harcz, otherwise known as Joseph J. Harcz, 87, of Worcester, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 in the Odd Fellows' Home with his daughter at his side. His beloved wife, Hermina passed away on April 12, 2009. He is survived by his daughter, Maria E. Harcz-Lydon and her husband Patrick. He is also survived by three sisters and many nieces and nephews. Joseph was proud to work as a mental health assistant for over twenty years at Worcester State Hospital. Family, friends, and others whose lives Joseph touched are invited to MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2015 and again at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady of the Rosary, 25 Fales Street, Worcester, where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow to Notre Dame Cemetery, where he will be entombed alongside his wife.
